Most surgical procedures need 5 to 10 days in Istanbul before you fly home. A hair transplant needs about 3 days, veneers about a week, and dental implants two shorter trips a few months apart. The exact number depends on the procedure, whether you combine operations and how you heal, so your surgeon confirms it at the final check.
Days in Istanbul by procedure

| Breast augmentation | 5-7 days |
| Breast lift | 5-7 days |
| Liposuction | 5-7 days |
| Tummy tuck | About 7 days |
| BBL | 7-8 days |
| Mommy makeover | 8-10 days |
| Hair transplant | 3 days |
| Porcelain veneers | 5-7 days |
| Dental implants | 3-5 days + 5-7 days (two trips) |
Why you should not leave earlier
- Stitches, drains or a nose splint are checked or removed before you fly.
- Most problems, such as bleeding or a fluid collection, appear in the first days, when your surgical team is still close by.
- Long flights soon after surgery raise the risk of blood clots. Walking, drinking water and compression stockings help; ask your surgeon what applies to you.
- Swelling makes the first days uncomfortable, and travelling is easier once it has started to settle.
When to plan extra days
- You combine procedures, for example breast and tummy surgery. The longest recovery sets the date.
- You have a long flight home, or connecting flights.
- You smoke, have a higher BMI or a medical condition that can slow healing.
- Your surgeon wants an extra check before you fly. A flexible ticket makes this easier.
