A mommy makeover combines the operations that most often address the body after pregnancy. In our package that is a tummy tuck, 360° liposuction and a breast lift in one operation of about 4–5 hours under general anaesthesia.
| Procedure | What it addresses | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Tummy tuck | Loose skin and separated abdominal muscles (diastasis) | Leaves a low scar, usually hidden by underwear |
| 360° liposuction | Fat around the waist, flanks and back | Shapes the waist; it is not a weight-loss method |
| Breast lift | Breasts that have lost volume or sag | Implants can be added if you also want more volume |
Is one combined operation safe?
For healthy women at a stable weight, combining these procedures is common. The main factor is time: the longer the anaesthesia, the higher the risk of blood clots and wound problems. That is why surgeons limit the total operating time and split very large plans into two stages. Before surgery your surgeon reviews your health, blood tests and photos; afterwards you walk early and wear compression to prevent clots.
When is the right time?
- When you do not plan more pregnancies – a new pregnancy can undo the result.
- When your weight has been stable for several months.
- Some months after you have stopped breastfeeding, so that the breasts have settled.
Recovery week by week
| Days 1–2 | Hospital stay, first walks, pain relief |
| Days 3–10 | Hotel in Istanbul, check-ups; flying home after about 8–10 days |
| Weeks 2–3 | Back to light work; compression garment day and night |
| Week 6 onwards | Lifting children and sport again, after your surgeon's OK; the final result settles over 6–12 months |
Does insurance pay?
Public health insurance in most European countries only pays when there is a clear medical reason – for example a large overhanging skin fold with chronic skin problems. A mommy makeover for cosmetic reasons is self-paid.
Our mommy makeover package costs €4,750 all-inclusive: the operation, hospital, hotel, transfers, check-ups, garment and complication insurance.
